All-Nurture News

More than 70 people of all ages attended the Family Fun Night sponsored by Children's Nurture Commission!

Many thanks for a great meal, lively conversation and fellowship!

"We had SO MUCH FUN at the Family Fun Night BBQ hosted by our Children's Nurture Commission on Wednesday, May 20. We ate hamburgers and hotdogs, everyone brought desserts to feast upon, and we played

lawn games all evening. Thanks to all who grilled, who prepared the food, who brought over games,

and who came to spend the evening with us! What a beautiful example of the Holy Spirit's presence!"

(Grace Iglehart)

During the past two years, over $2800 has been earned through the Kroger Community Rewards Program for our youth! This summer, our Sr. Highs are going to spend a week in Detroit working to tear down abandoned houses,

rebuild homes and plant community gardens. Middlers will be working with The Pittsburgh Project to do home

repairs and landscaping in the Pittsburgh area. The funds you earn with this program continue to allow our

youth to serve Christ by serving others. To enroll or re-enroll, go online to www.krogercommunityrewards.com
Our NPO # is 82535.
Prayer Partners are needed for our mission trips. As a prayer partner, you commit to praying daily for your

partner as well as sending notes and goodies to encourage them. More information is available at the Crossroads where you may sign up to participate. Thank you for all of your support!

Adult programming is on recess for the Summer. Watch for exciting new programs in the Fall!

Dance For Joy!

Children's church school has been studying Acts 3 where Peter heals a man lame from birth in the name of the risen Jesus Christ. They learned about the importance
of helping others in times of distress and illness.

The hand-made pillowcases will be delivered to Vista Maria the first week in June. A few are still missing. Please drop them off at the church office ASAP! Thanks!

Adopt a Plot

There are still plots available for adoption. Adopting a small plot is an easy and fun way to insure that our church grounds always look their "Sunday best." A map of the plots and a sign upsheet are available at the Crossroads.
