Top 10 Highlights and Reasons to Join ARB's Family of Supporters:
|
On June 30, just a few days from now, we will be closing our books on the 2012-13 season and launching into the 2013-14 season. In order to sustain the great quality of the work we present on stage, the wonderful faculty, accompanists and facilities of our school, and our initiatives that bring dance education and performances to public school children and the community, we need your support!
Here are 10 exciting things we have in store for next season:
#10 -
Increased ACCESS to our
free
Guest lectures and sneak peeks curated by Artistic Director Douglas Martin will be made available online next season when possible, in case you can't make it in person. Here's our test run - if you missed our panel discussion about Dancer Nutrition, view it HERE.
 #9 -
Increased IMPACT through our DANCE POWER Programs:
Next season, we will bring dance education to all 2nd and 3rd grade students in New Brunswick public schools. We've also expanded this programming to other school districts! (right) DANCE POWER students. Photo by George Jones
#8 -
More DREAMS achieved:
Our alums follow their dreams and many are currently dancing with top companies around the world, including New York City Ballet, Ballet West, Paul Taylor Dance Company, Oregon Ballet Theatre, Kansas City Ballet, American Repertory Ballet, plus Broadway, TV, movies, prestigious university programs and more. Our scholarship programs create opportunities for those who would not otherwise be able to follow their dreams.
#7 -
Opportunities for hundreds of students to AWAKEN their love of performing:
Our spring production brings together students from all ages and levels and teaches young dancers how to perform under pressure with poise - a life lesson! Next year: Tchaikovsky's Sleeping Beauty!
#6 - More LIVE Music: In addition to our commitment to live music in our classrooms for all ballet classes, we also strive to commission live music for our performances. Next year, at State Theatre, we will bring you Romeo and Juliet and Nutcracker with full orchestras!
