Can you believe the Holy month of Ramadhan is almost over and so is summer vacation!
Objective 1 MET AlhamdulilLah:
JazakAllahu Khairan Guides and Parents of helping with the bakesales on the first two weekends of Ramadhan. AlhamdulilLah we have raised almost enough to cover the bus transportation to Sea World, with all your hard work! Special Thanks goes to Lieutenant Yasmeen and Guides Sarrah Virij and Siddika Kermalli for running the table both weekends.
Guides Objective 2 Reminder:
Adopt a Grandparent Project this Ramadhan. Your Guide is to approach 5 elderly people (Only 5 days of Ramadhan left!) whom they do not know and fill out the questionnaire they have been given. They must be polite and courteous and use the etiquette skills that were taught at Guides.
Parents Action Item 2: Please make sure your Guide remembers to get this completed by the end of Ramadhan so they can earn extra tickets redeemable at the Guides Gift Shop. Check our fb Guides page for the pdf!
Guides Objective 3 Reminder:
Fill out a Tree of Good Deeds to earn tickets!
Parents Action Item 3: Please ensure that you sign off on the good deeds your child decides to put into the tree and give them encouragement and support. Check out our fb Guides page for the pdf!
Guides Objective 4:
Our Guides helped design collection boxes for UMF's Ramadhan Book Drive for Midway Elementary
Parents Action Item 4: Sadly only one of the two boxes is full. Please bring in new or gently used children's books to donate to the empty shelves in Midway's Library before the end of Ramadhan!

8/13 - Qur'an 5 & Under the Sea - WEDNESDAY 4-6pm HIC
8/27- Qur'an 6 & Under the Sea - WEDNESDAY 4-6pm HIC
9/10 - Qur'an 7 & Empowerment - WEDNESDAY 4-6pm HIC
9/25 - Field Trip to Sea World - FRIDAY (SEMINOLE PUBLIC SCHOOL HOLIDAY for ROSH HASHANAH - Please inform us ASAP if your child cannot attend on this day) 8:30am bus depart - return by 4:30pm to HIC
10/1 - Qur'an 8 & Empowerment Presentation Preps- WEDNESDAY 4-6pm HIC
10/15 - Qur'an 9 & Empowerment Presentation Preps- WEDNESDAY 4-6pm HIC
10/17 - *Guides Eid Empowerment Presentation @ HIC* - FRIDAY 6:30-8pm
