Salaam Alaikum, Peace be with you

Eid Mubarak!

Eid ul-Adha, often called the Festival of Sacrifice, falls on the 10th day of Dhu al-Hijjah. Eid ul-Adha commemorates Prophet Ibrahim's (Abraham) willingness to sacrifice his son, Ismail (Ismael) with unshakable resolve.  To commemorate this outstanding act of sacrifice (Qurbani), Muslims often sacrifice a lamb, goat, ram or any other animal on Eid-ul-Adha and give the meat to friends, neighbors, relatives and the needy  Enjoining in prayers and merriment, Eid ul-Adha is a time for families and friends to come together and cherish happy moments.

On behalf of United Muslim Foundation, we wish you a blessed Eid Mubarak and pray it is a joyous time for you and your family!

Brothers and Sisters, please remember to give generously during this blessed time. We at UMF do all we can to serve our community, but we need your help to keep doing it.  Like the sacrifice of Prophet Ibrahim (Abraham), we ask that you give with open hearts and insha'Allah (God willing), God will bless all of us!

Sincerely,

United Muslim Foundation
