For $30 this Thanksgiving, you can provide 'Hope in a Basket' to families in need around central Florida.
Each basket will contain a Turkey, mashed potatoes, stuffing, gravy, cranberry sauce, a children's book as well as other Thanksgiving goodies.
To reach The Goal of helping
200 Families
Baskets will be distributed the week before Thanksgiving Day to struggling families from Title 1 schools from Seminole, Orange and Osceola counties.

Dr. Altaf Husain
Dr. Husain's research interests include the mental health and integration of immigrant and refugee families, and especially Muslim adolescents, in the United States. He serves as a faculty member of COMPASS - the state of the art management training program of MSA National; a board member and chair of the Leadership Development Committee of the Islamic Society of North America (ISNA) and an advisory board member of the Peaceful Families Project -dedicated to the prevention of domestic violence. His past service to the community includes serving as a two-term national president of the Muslim Students Association (MSA National) and an executive committee member of the Muslim Alliance in North America (MANA). Dr. Husain lives in Northern Virginia with his wife Mona and their children, Omar, Ahmed and Asmaa.
