CREATIVE CITY ANNOUNCES FIRST ROUND OF GRANT RECIPIENTS


Creative City has awarded $78,500 with the first round of grantsProjects will take place over the next 12 months, with multiple opportunities for the recipients to connect as a cohort for professional development, a key part of the initiative. More details on each artist and a description of the project can be found on NEFA's grantee directory

CONNECT WITH US AT APAP 2016 | NYC

The Association of Performing Arts Presenters (APAP) conference in NYC is fast approaching, and NEFA staff will be attending. Co-chair of the conference this year is NEFA's own executive director Cathy Edwards! Be sure to stop by our booth or catch us at a session.

IDEA SWAP ROUND UP

On November 10 in Worcester, MA, nearly 130 attendees from New England presenting organizations gathered to network and share project ideas at the 14th annual Idea Swap. The day resulted in 77+ swapped project ideas. 

Attendees have until December 1 to participate in our event survey.

NEW STAFF
Sharon Timmel has joined NEFA as development manager.

Prior to joining NEFA, Sharon served as development and communications manager for ZUMIX, a nonprofit dedicated to empowering youth and building community through music and the arts. Sharon holds a BA from Villanova University, and is completing an MS in Arts Administration from Boston University. Read more on nefa.org.
