PUBLIC ART PANEL AT THE BCA

Where's the Art? Exploring the Spectrum of Public Art Practices

WHEN: 5.6.15 | 5:30PM to 7:00PM

WHERE: BCA Plaza Theatre at the Boston Center for the Arts

Now and There is pleased to announce their first panel discussion, Where's the Art? during ArtWeek Boston with co-sponsors NEFA's Fund for the Arts and Boston Center for the Arts along with other organizations who nurture artists and the artistic practice in Boston.

Panelists Cedric Douglas, artist behind the Up Truck; Megan McMillan, artist, writer, and SMFA faculty member; Liz Nofziger, of "Bounce" (pictured above) fame; and Rob Trumbour, architect/educator, will be moderated by Now and There director Kate Gilbert.

The Andrew W. Melon Foundation

($3.3 million for the National Dance Project)

Doris Duke Foundation of Islamic Art

($500,000 for Center Stage)

And thank you to the six New England State Arts Agencies for their ongoing partnership funding! Connecticut Department of Economic and Community Development, Maine Arts Commission, Massachusetts Cultural Council, New Hampshire State Council on the Arts, Rhode Island State Council on the Arts, and Vermont Arts Council.
