Back by popular demand! Jim Grace, Executive Director of the Arts & Business Council of Greater Boston, will lead a workshop to help you with the multifaceted business of being a public artist. The day will focus on contracts, budgets, insurance, and incorporation. Sessions will be led by an attorney, insurance broker, a public art studio manager, and a practicing public artist. Bring your notepad and lots of questions!
Those that register for The Business of Being a Public Artist are eligible for Jim Grace's Contracts Clinic on March 5th. Public artists are invited to bring their contracts so that Jim and his colleagues can provide step-by-step guidance. Don't miss out on this opportunity!

NEFA hosted a public art grants workshop on January 23 in partnership with the Boston Arts Commission. Over 25 public artists and administrators attended to hear about the guidelines and funding criteria for Fund for the Arts, the Browne Fund and the Henderson Foundation.
