Angler Walter Gutjahr from California landed this

whopper of a halibut fishing with Tim Berg's crew on June 18th. Walter and his fishing buddy Bob Woodard purchased this trip at a Make-A-Wish Fundraiser in San Diego.

The San Diego Fundraiser brought in nearly 2 million dollars thanks to generous donations.

Tim & Carol Berg have donated to this noble cause for the past 7 years to help young people who have been struck by a serious illness.

"We had already caught some really nice fish and then with just a few minutes of fishing time left this monster nailed my bait. The other guys in the boat were giving me a hard time just before he hit as I had not kept a fish yet for the day. I still can't believe I caught this huge fish."

Kent Powell & his friends from Rifle, Co. visited Tim Berg's in mid-June and nailed nice limits of KINGS & HALIBUT!!

Calm seas and weather in the mid 70's made for ideal fishing conditions.

Schools of hungry KINGS are near shore making June an ideal time to target feeding kings that are on large balls of herring.

Jeff Becker from Napa, California nailed this gorgeous 76 lb Halibut on June 10th. "I had been looking forward to this trip my entire life - now I am hooked. Tim and his staff did everything possible to make this a dream vacation for me and my wife."

Kathy Bruckner smiles after landing this gorgeous 39 Lb. Saltwater King on June 12th fishing with Captain Mike on the Jedi. Kathy traveled with her husband Jim from Wisconsin to enjoy some great Alaska fishing this week!!
