Conspicuous consumption is out of vogue, as we have all learned that we can live with less. Less is more, and how long this trend will continue is anyone's guess.

In the past where we would show Tibetan or custom Nepalese hand-knots in either 100 knot or even 120 knot constructions, woven of Nepalese wools or premium New Zealand wools with a lustrous accent of pure silk. We find that we are now are showing slightly looser constructions such as 80 knot with lustrous accents of Viscose which is still a natural fiber instead of silk. The difference in quality is mostly imperceptible while the cost is significantly less.
