The Nursery and Preschool department are in need of some extra volunteers! Would you like to make a difference in the life of a child? How about helping to set the spiritual foundation for a child?
Jesus said, "Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these." Matthew 19:14
Please join us as we love and care for God's Children! You must be 16 or older to help in the nursery or preschool classes and complete a background check if you are over the age of 18. Please see Rachel Kurtz or contact her at 804-297-1693 for more details or if you would like to help out.

 Pregnancy Resource Center Walk for life! Sat. April 30th. Registration and event will begin at 9:00 AM at 3601 MONUMENT AVE., RICHMOND, VA This is a fun, non-competitive two-mile walk from which the proceeds go to support the ministry of the PRC of Metro Richmond. Walkers of all ages are encouraged to sign-up as many sponsors as they can and come walk with us. (Strollers and wheelchairs are welcome.) The Walk for Life is an easy and great way to support life. We hope you will enlist your family and friends and join in the fun! To sign up online please click HERE We have a unique opportunity to help serve the PRC by helping them set up before the event! Helping Hands Reminder: The Helping Hands Policy and Financial Assistance Request Form were adopted by The Church on the Avenue on September 21, 2015. The policy and request form are available from any of the following Helping Hands Team members, Roy Slater, Debbie Slater, Charlotte Lassiter and Chris Lassiter.  Celebrate Recovery would like to invite anyone that has a hurt, habit, or hang up to join us on Thursday nights at 7pm at U-turn. Childcare is provided. For questions please see Dennis Newsome.

 Want an easy way to get to know more people at TCOTA while spending more time learning about God's Word? You can accomplish both by joining a life group! There are many available on Sunday mornings at 9:15 am and there are several that meet throughout the week. please contact Wayne Huband, Chris Bouma or Chris Constable.
