Westbound Serfas Club Off-Ramp to Close for Two Months, Starting July 5

The westbound 91 Serfas Club Drive off-ramp will close Tuesday, July 5 at 8 pm for approximately two months. This closure is needed for our crews to safely build the new westbound 91 Maple Street on-ramp and to widen the 91.

As a detour, motorists can use the Maple Street off-ramp. To view the detour map, click here. You also can view this month's 91 Seconds on the 91 video, which highlights the closure and other activities.

RCTC reminds motorists to be safe at all times. Please:
  • Slow down. Speed limits within the project limits are 55 miles per hour, and fines are doubled in construction zones.
  • Allow extra travel time.
  • If using Metrolink trains, please allow extra travel time, especially at the West Corona station.
  • Be aware of changing conditions and follow detour signs.
  • Watch for workers and equipment.
  • Be extra careful when driving at night.
  • Follow the "Move Over" Law, which requires motorists to shift a lane away from the shoulder, when emergency responders or tow trucks are present.
  • Avoid blocking intersections, which could impede the travel of emergency personnel.
  • Don't "jump the queue" and merge safely when entering the highway.
  • Leave plenty of space between you and the vehicle in front of you

Eastbound 91 Main Street On-Ramp Opened
June 23

Good news for motorists traveling east on the 91! The new eastbound Main Street on-ramp opened June 23. Motorists traveling north or south on Main Street have access to the new on-ramp, which connects to eastbound 91 only. Access from this ramp to northbound and southbound Interstate 15 is expected to open in September.

The eastbound Main Street on-ramp was closed in January 2015 as part of the "Main Street Squeeze," which reduced lanes on Main Street and allowed crews to build this completely redesigned ramp. For a look at the new on-ramp, please watch this month's "91 Seconds on the 91" video.

The westbound Main Street off-ramp closed in May 2015 and is expected to reopen in July. Please watch for updates.

Nighttime Closures of Eastbound 91 at I-15 Continue through July

Nighttime full closures of eastbound 91 at Interstate 15 are continuing through the end of July, following the Independence Day holiday. Closures will occur Monday through Thursday from 10 pm to 5 am nightly, Fridays from midnight to 7:30 am and Saturdays from midnight to 8:30 am.

During these closures, the southbound I-15 to eastbound 91 connector also will be closed.

For questions, please call the helpline at 877-770-9191 or visit the website, Facebook, Twitter or Instagram.

Weekend Ramp Closures Expected at

  • A 55-hour closure of the westbound 91 Lincoln Avenue on-ramp near Pomona Road is anticipated to take place July 22-25. Motorists can use Sixth Street to access the westbound Main Street on-ramp.
