91 Project
 Date: February 5, 2016
CONSTRUCTION ALERT

Northbound Only Travel on Maple Street Bridge
Beginning Friday, February 12 at 9 pm to July 2016

As part of the Riverside County Transportation Commission's (RCTC) 91 Project, the Maple Street bridge will change to northbound only travel on Friday, February 12 at 9 pm until approximately July 2016.

This will allow demolition of the west side of the Maple Street bridge, which is needed to build the new half of the bridge. During this time, there will be two northbound lanes open, with access to the westbound 91 Maple Street on-ramp.

Motorists traveling south on Maple Street can turn left onto the westbound 91 Maple Street on-ramp. To access the eastbound 91 Paseo Grande on-ramp, vehicular traffic can head east on Pomona Road, south on Smith Street and west on Sixth Street to the on-ramp. During weekday peak travel times of 5 am to 9 am, truck traffic north of the 91 will be detoured north on Maple Street, east on Railroad Street and south on Lincoln Avenue to the eastbound 91 on-ramp. Please see detour map below.

In July 2016, the new westbound 91 Maple Street on-ramp is expected to open. At this point, there is a potential to close the the bridge completely and work to finish building the new Maple Street bridge expected to open in December 2016.
