Weekend Closures at Main Street in Corona

Eastbound 91 Full Closure at Main Street in Corona
Saturday, November 15 at 11:59 p.m. to Sunday, November 16 at 6 a.m.

As part of the Riverside County Transportation Commission's 91 Project, crews will close the Main Street undercrossing at the 91 for 36 hours and the eastbound 91 at Main Street for six hours during the time. The closures are necessary to safely demolish a portion of the bridge for the 91 to be widened and to remove an overhead sign structure. The work will be conducted during off-peak weekend hours to reduce the overall closure time. Lane closures also will occur on the 91 during a portion of this time. Noise can be expected with these activities.
During the undercrossing closure, the Main Street ramps will remain open, except the eastbound on-ramp. However, this ramp will open temporarily from Saturday, November 15 at 11:59 p.m. to Sunday, November 16 at 6 a.m. during the full 91 eastbound closure at Main Street.

- Allow extra time to get to work, school or appointments
- Tell friends or customers about construction activity
- Be extra careful when driving at night and in rainy weather
- Avoid mobile phone use or other distractions when driving through this area
- Watch for lane and ramp closures, use alternate routes and follow detours
- Obey the "Move Over" Law, which requires you to move to lanes away from any construction work, when it's safe to do so
- Remember that this is a short-term inconvenience for long-term mobility benefits
