1. ASM is proud to announce the promotion of Rick Conner to Vice President.  Since joining ASM Rick has been instrumental  in our continued growth and improving our internal processes.


2. Ancillary Services Management (ASM) is pleased to announce Terry Chili who will be joining ASM as Director of Business Development. Terry brings years of experience in telecom and contract negotiations to this new position.  Most recently he worked in the Mid-Atlantic region for Comcast Cable and worked for Viacom, HBO, and other companies in New York, Texas, Indianapolis and Minneapolis in the past.

His expertise includes professional advice regarding negotiations for new build and renewal telecom access and marketing MDU agreements as well as bulk services consulting for senior/student housing and on-campus IPTV service guidance.

ASM President, Andrew Smith, said "During Terry's extensive career he has worn many hats and conducted negotiations for cable programmers, independent call centers, as well as cable operators.  ASM is looking forward to Terry bringing his insight, unique point of view and inside knowledge to benefit our owners and developers in his new role."

Terry enjoys spending time with his wife and two daughters. He is an avid, though only proficient, golfer, a dedicated fitness advocate and roots for his Duke Blue Devils (a dangerous undertaking while living in Maryland for the last 20+ years.)

ASM Accomplishments

This section in our newsletter is to brag a little bit about our accomplishments we have achieved for our clients. It will give you an idea of what we may be able to accomplish for your company!

Case Studies:
 
ASM was able to terminate an existing Laundry agreement that automatically renewed 2 years earlier and still had 5 years remaining.  Under the newly ASM negotiated agreement we were able to provide the client a new signing bonus and an increased monthly revenue share that was higher than the previous agreement.
 


ASM renegotiated waste hauling contracts for a client on 11 communities which will save the client approximately $105,000 a year.
ASM renegotiated waste compactor rental agreements on 4 communities for a client.  This reduced their compactor rental expense by an average of 42% per property.  


ASM was able to combine multiple properties from several different clients into one offer from a telecom provider, thus improving the offer for all clients.  The result was approx $750,000 in door fee revenue for the group (and many of the properties were less than 100 units).  In addition ASM added a new recurring revenue stream for approx. 25% of the group.
