Trilogy Receives Highest Level CARF Accreditation!
In December 2013, a survey team from the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF) International-an independent, nonprofit accreditor of health and human services which accredits organizations in North and South America, Europe, Asia, and Africa-came to Trilogy to review our organization and the services we provide.
For three days, practitioners from the behavioral field selected by CARF shadowed members of Trilogy's leadership team to evaluate Trilogy's programs and business practices based on rigorous and internationally-recognized CARF standards. Their survey was then reviewed by CARF headquarters, where a report was compiled with the results: including praise, recommendations, and a renewed three-year CARF accreditation!
"The organization's commitment to evidence-based treatment and consistent fidelity to those models is notable."
"Peer specialists are well integrated into the overall structure of administrative and clinical operations."
-Comments on Trilogy from the CARF review
Commitment to quality improvement, focus on the unique needs of each person the provider serves, and monitoring the service results are all required to receive CARF's highest level, three-year accreditation and are areas of our organization that Trilogy takes immense pride in. Trilogy's newest accreditation extends to February 2017.

Advocacy Works! Obama Drops Plan To Alter Medicare

Thanks in part to all of the mental health providers, peers, and legislators who rallied together against proposed changes to Medicare Part D's "six protected classes" of drugs, President Obama has dropped changes that would have severely limited the number of prescriptions individuals, including many whom live with mental illness and rely on Medicare, would have been eligible to receive!
Healthcare stakeholders banded together across the country: issuing action alerts, speaking on Capitol Hill, and urging federal health officials to make certain that some of the most vulnerable among our population had continued access to life-saving medications. President Obama's decision ensures that those individuals who are on Medicare and living with a mental illness continue to have access to their much needed medications.
Thank you to every person who took action. Your advocacy really does make a difference!
