Our annual event was an overwhelming success because of our incredible donors and the individuals who attended our fund-raising event. With your help, we were able to raise funds that ensure Trilogy continues to provide vital behavioral health services to the people of Rogers Park and its surrounding area.

We especially want to thank our Guardian Sponsors-Barnes & Thornburg, LLP and Loyola University Chicago. We also want to thank CBS 2 Chicago news anchor Rob Johnson, our Master of Ceremonies; State Representative Sara Feigenholtz, our  2013 Legislative Partner in Recovery Award honoree; and Nambi E. Kelley, noted actress, playwright, and 2013 Individual Partner in Recovery Award honoree. Thank you to The Kingfish Band for providing crowd-pleasing dance music and thank you to all of our guests and incredible volunteers.

Together, we truly made a difference!

Sincerely,

John Mayes

1st Anniversary of Trauma-Informed Care Implementation

Since Spring 2012, Trilogy has strived to integrate Trauma-Informed Care (TIC) into our programming.

According to Alison Larkin, our Clinical Program Manager, "Over the past year, our awareness as an organization has changed. We are looking at each person-our consumers and our staff-as though they have gone through trauma. We are building a shared conscious of what the community has been through and when someone presents as symptomatic we are looking at them as though their behaviors may be rooted in trauma instead of just symptoms of their mental illness."

Through the year ahead, Trilogy will continue making strides toward being a fully integrated TIC organization. We will be implementing new practices suggested by the National Council to enhance our organization's TIC. We will continue to provide everyone who walks through our doors with a safe and secure community where discussing traumatic events is a step in the recovery process that is accepted, encouraged, and never stigmatized.

Trilogy's Newly Elected Consumer Advisory Council!

On April 18th, elections were held in the Trilogy Beacon for members of our newly restructured Consumer Advisory Council. More than 90 votes were cast throughout the organization and we are excited to announce the elected leadership team.

Trilogy Consumer Advisory Council

Trilogy's Consumer Advisory Council is an elected group of Trilogy clients and Beacon patrons who advise Trilogy's staff and Board of Directors on ways to improve the experience of everyone who walks through our front doors.Members of the Council consult with Trilogy management on organizational policies and programs and give a consumer perspective on helping the organization identify ways to provide more effective and recovery-focused services.

Consumer Advisory Council meetings occur monthly and are open to all Trilogy clients and Beacon patrons. Being a member of the Consumer Advisory Council is an important responsibility and one that the Trilogy community takes very seriously.

We'd like to wholeheartedly congratulate our newly elected Trilogy Consumer Advisory Council leadership members!
