March with Shir Libeynu at the Toronto World Pride Parade

A once-in-a-lifetime event!
This will be the first time congregants from Jewish, Christian and Muslim organizations join together to stand up for diversity, inclusion and human rights. We will be marching with the Interfaith Float, stepping in time with the tunes of our own DJ Shroom.
As part of the Interfaith contingent, we will be carrying signs (don't worry, they are small and light) for The Rainbow Railroad, an organization that helps LGBT people around the world as they seek safe haven from state enabled violence, murder or persecution.
Whether you're gay, straight, lesbian, bi or trans, we want you to march with us.  Bring your kids, your parents, your friends. Everyone is welcome.
Yes, the corporations will be there with their flashy floats, but when public services and faith-based groups pass, the crowds go wild. This is your chance to feel like a rock star!
Important information for Pride Parade participants:
  • Please try to wear purple - it's the Interfaith colour
  • Wear comfortable shoes
  • Wear sunscreen
  • Wear a hat
  • Bring water
The parade begins at 1:00 p.m. Shir Libeynu marchers meet at 2:00 p.m. at Staging Section K. This is located at Bloor Street  and Ted Rogers Way. Shir Libeynu is Permit Number 12.5. We are right next to Metropolitan United Church group.
