Our inclusive, egalitarian and participatory Shabbat morning services are led by our ritual leader, Aviva Goldberg (unless otherwise noted) and our chazzan, Daniela Gesundheit (her schedule permitting). A free educational children's program is offered during morning services. Contemplative Shabbat Services

February 15, April 19, and June 7

Time(s) to be confirmed

(Please note the February service is on the 15th, not the 25th, as was originally announced. All dates may be subject to change; updates will be provided.)

Shir Libeynu is offering a four-part series of contemplative Shabbat services. In addition to the service being held this Saturday, three more contemplative services will be held in 2014. Through music and chanting, with some grounding in silence, we catch our breaths, we pray, and find innovative ways to navigate our way to the pleasures of connecting to the here and now, to Shabbat and to community.

These services are led by Lorne Blumer, with the assistance of fellow Shir Libeynu soul jammers Justine Apple, Helen Bauer, Lorne Gould, Harvey Weisfeld and Penny Winestock.

Light refreshments are served after each service. There is currently no childcare available during the contemplative services.

All services take place at
