Kids-Only Purim Celebration:

Stories, Crafts & Costumes

It's the Purim story like you've never heard it before. Cheer on brave Queen Esther and boo the wicked Haman.

THIS SATURDAY!!!

March 2nd @ 10:30 a.m.

Miles Nadal Jewish Community Centre, Room 318

(750 Spadina Avenue)

The Story of Esther:

Kids will have a chance to make a lot of noise whenever You-Know-Who is mentioned.

Crafts:

Grogger-Making - Great for Shaking * Design Your Own Crown, Just Like Esther * Make a Mask - Keep Them Guessing * Create Paper-Plate Hamentashen - But Don't Eat Them

Costumes:

Put on a silly hat or dress up as a cat. Wear brave Esther's lovely gown or be mean Haman with a terrible frown. Just don't forget to dress up for our costume parade. A special Purim raffle promises prizes for all.

Treats:

Homemade hamentashen will be served at the Kiddush after the service.

We hope that your family can join us as we celebrate Purim a little late. Don't forget your costumes.

SEE YOU SATURDAY!

All Year Round...

Our Shabbat morning services, held the first Saturday of every month (except in April, when the service is being held on April 14th), include free child care. Of course, if your family prefers to attend services together, your children are very welcome. Whichever choice you make, the kids always enjoy the informal Kiddush afterwards.
