Medicine Hat Businesses Take Home Top Honours at Alberta Business Awards of Distinction!
Three Medicine Hat businesses received top honours at the 22nd Alberta Business Awards of Distinction held this Friday at a gala evening honouring business excellence held at the Edmonton Marriott at River Cree Resort. A total of 37 businesses and organizations from across Alberta were named as finalists by the Alberta Chambers of Commerce with 11 of those finalists operating in Medicine Hat. Other finalists vying for the province's top honours hailed from Edmonton, Calgary, Spruce Grove, Stony Plain, Athabasca, Fort McKay, Morinville, Acheson, Hobbema, Neeralta and Standoff. Read More...

Community Development Grants Available
The Community Development Department of the City of Medicine Hat offers grants to non-profit groups for innovative projects meeting social needs in the community. Grant monies of up to $15,000 per project may be available, while the sponsoring group must provide at least 20% of the project costs. Deadline for applications is Friday March 15, 2013 at 4:30pm.
