Using oversized versions of popular children's books, this colorful and educational exhibit brings the exciting world of math and its everyday uses to children and families. From Our Friends At
Rewild Portland
Year-long nature skills programs for young women

Rewild Portland is now enrolling for their Young Women's Nature Skills Program. This year-long mentoring program is for young women ages 10-12 and 13+ that want to get outside, connect with nature, and learn awesome outdoor skills in a girl-only environment.

Each age group will meet separately and focus on building character, leadership and healthy feminine relationships through the exploration of nature, story, art, and ancestral skills. We will meet twice a month for a year, and this program will culminate with a participant designed camping trip to use the skills learned through the year. Connect with nature, make friends, and explore the arts of fire making, archery, shelter building, weaving, cordage, felting, leatherwork, edible and medicinal plants, orienteering, bird language, and more with Rewild Portland! Programs begin in October 2014.

Drop-in Open House is August 30th, 1pm-3pm at the Washington Park Archery Range.
