From our Friends at
Rasmussen Farms
Celebrate the season with Dorothy and Toto

The Corn Maze at Rasmussen Farms is open! Follow the path and story through the 12 foot tall corn. Every year our corn maze has a different theme with captioned vignettes and this year the theme is "The Wizard of Oz". Join Dorothy and Toto as they follow the yellow brick road facing fears and foes while forging new friendships in a strange land.

You'll find witches, good and bad, a wizard and lots of other colorful characters. Have no fears about getting lost, the path is clearly marked. While you're here, cut a bouquet of sunflowers, zinnias and cosmos from our u-cut flower field. Or pick your own tomatoes for salads, sauce or salsa. There are also plenty of ready picked fruits and veggies available in the sales barn for a picnic or school lunches.  And don't forget to come back in October for Pumpkin Funland, u-pick pumpkins and pumpkin bowling! As always, ADMISSION IS FREE. Oh Auntie Em, there is no place like Rasmussen Farms.

Hours: 9am-6pm daily

We're located six miles south of Hood River, just off Highway 35. (Follow the blue highway attraction signs and the bright Rasmussen signs.) Bus parking is available. To view a map to the farm, click here.

From our Friends at
EZ Orchards
HarvestFest is on

October is Harvestfest month at E.Z. Orchards. Started in 1996 as a way to bring people into close contact with the fields, orchards and animals of E.Z. Orchards, we are still providing that "real contact" with the farm. At HarvestFest we offer: Corn-Oregon Maze, Straw Sailing Ship, Petting Zoo, Pumpkin Patch, Gold & Gemstone Mining, Tractor Drawn Hay Rides, Pony/Horse Rides, Live Bluegrass Music, Pedal Tractors, Slide, Steer Roping Ring Toss and Duck Races.

This is a great chance to combine family fun and education in a wonderful farm setting! So bring the whole family. As you journey through the Corn-Oregon Maze, which is in the shape of our great state, Oregon. The pathways of the maze are the roads and highways of Oregon, there are over 60 signs indicating points of geographic and historic interest throughout Oregon. Who says learning can't be fun!?

Tasty treats are part of our HarvestFest too. Caramel Apples, Apple Cider, Apple Cider Donuts, Pumpkin Donuts, Apple Cider Slushies, Sausage, Roasted Corn, Roasted Squash, Baked Apples, Hot Dogs, Kettle Corn, Curly Fries, Apple and Marionberry Pie, Espresso and Ice Cream Treats.

Please visit our website for a complete schedule of activities.
