Palm Sunday Crosses
Join us in the making of palm crosses for this coming Palm Sunday, Thursday evening at 7 in Saint Patrick's lounge.
Easter Flowers
The Easter tradition at Saint Patrick's is to use flowers, lilies and other green plants, on the Altar and throughout the church. If you would like to offer flowers in "Memory of a loved one" or as an "Offering of Thanksgiving", please donate $12 to the Altar Guild. Please indicate below how you would like your donation to appear in the bulletin on Easter Sunday. Put this form in the offering plate or give it to any member of the Altar Guild or mail to Saint Patrick's at 3241 Brush Drive, Falls Church VA 22042. Checks should be made out to the "Altar Guild of Saint Patrick's."
Our Heavenly Father:
Your love for us is unfailing. You have blessed this church -- a caring community where all are welcome and each is valued. Renew our faith during this time of transition.
Be with our pastoral search committee. Give them unity of purpose, and help them listen carefully to your voice. Let us be mindful that you are calling the right person to shepherd your flock at St. Patrick's.
All this we ask in the name of your Son, our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, Amen

The Sunday of the Passion: Palm Sunday
Texts:
First Reading: Isaiah 45:21-25 Psalm 22:1-11 Second Reading: Philippians 2:5-11
Mark 14:1 - 15:39
Collect:
Almighty and everliving God, in your tender love for the human race you sent your Son our Savior Jesus Christ to take upon him our nature, and to suffer death upon the cross, giving us the example of his great humility: Mercifully grant that we may walk in the way of his suffering, and also share in his resurrection; through Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen.
