Dear Knights,
Our winter sports teams are doing great. Our athletes, coaches, and fans made us all very proud in the first week of CIF Playoffs. Good luck this week!
Our boys soccer team played a great game on Friday afternoon at Barry Turner field. They truly played their hearts out to a 1-1 tie at the end of two overtime periods. Unfortunately, Rancho Verde High School was able to beat us on PKs by one. Coach MacAuley did a great job coaching this team to much improved success this year and the kids made us all very proud. Congratulations on a great season!
Girls Water Polo
The Knights beat both University and Mater Dei High Schools last week to move on to the semi finals of the CIF bracket. They will play Newport Harbor at 5:00PM on Wednesday, February 25, at 5:00PM. The game will be held at the Woollett Aquatic Center in Irvine.
Boys Wrestling
In the CIF section match, Foothill wrestler, Mario Galvez finished second in his division and Roland Frank finished third. Both wrestlers move on to the Masters match in Ontario this upcoming weekend.
Girls Basketball
Our girls basketball team beat Cypress High School on Saturday evening by a score of 67 - 46. They will have a home game on Wednesday, February 25 at 7:00PM against Burbank High School.
Girls Soccer
Our girls soccer team beat Lakewood High School 2 - 0 under the lights at Tustin High School on Thursday night. They will travel to Los Osos High School in Rancho Cucamonga on Tuesday for a 5:30PM game.
Boys Basketball
The Knights beat Long Beach - Wilson on Friday night 68 - 45. They will travel to Troy High School in Fullerton on Tuesday, February 24. Game time is 7:00PM. If they win Tuesday's game, they will play again Friday night.
