Dear Knights:

I apologize for not getting out an update for the last two weeks, but things have been very busy.  I am very excited to announce the addition of Cheli Nye to our administrative team in the role of Assistant Principal.  Dr. Nye earned her doctorate from USC recently and has served as a math teacher and Assistant Principal at North Torrance High School for the past 14 years.  She started today and will be an incredible asset to Foothill.  Welcome Dr. Nye!

Tutorial period is going very well.  For each tutorial period, our campus has been clear and kids have been in classrooms.  In the rooms that I have stopped by during tutorial, I have been nothing but impressed with our teachers and students and the work they are doing together.  The tutorial period will continue to evolve in order to fit the changing needs of our student body.  If you have suggestions, please feel free to email me any great ideas.

Tonight's Football Game is the last league game and we will be honoring the senior members of the Football Team, Cheerleaders, Dance Team and Band.

The presentation of seniors will take place just before the game at 6:30pm.

Boys Baseball

Pies anyone?  Support Knights Baseball Program by ordering your Marie Callendar's Thanksgiving Holiday pies.  Pie sales will begin this Monday November 3rd, and go through Friday November 21st.  We will be selling all the holiday favorites. All pies are $14.00 each.  New this year we have added an extra delivery day and you can now order your pies online. Go to www.knightsbaseball.com website and follow the link to pie sales.

All pies will be delivered directly to you on Tuesday November 25th or Wednesday November 26th.  Tell your friends, family and co-workers.

 Wrestling

Wrestlers hare hosting a kickoff BBQ November 6th in the Events Center parking lot following the Freshman Football game. Come out and have a hotdog or Burger and Support the Wrestling Knights in their upcoming Season. 5 to 8pm
