We have seen many tax and online scams during the current tax season. Recently we issued email notifications about the surge in identity theft and phishing scams.  Gray, Gray & Gray continues to help you stay ahead of these issues in order to protect you from the potential detriment these scams can have on your personal and business lives. To expand upon the communications we have already sent, we thought it important to share with you the Internal Revenue Service's annual "Dirty Dozen" tax scams list released yesterday.  Topping the list for 2013 is - you guessed it - identity theft, followed by phishing. Here at Gray, Gray & Gray, we encourage our clients to heed the IRS's urging to exercise caution to protect themselves against the variety of schemes, many of which peak during tax filing season.
