Transportation back and forth to school- STILL NEEDED!
While school supplies are readily available at the store for parents to pick up, transportation from their child's before and after school care is not as easy to arrange.
With your support, you can help us BUILD-A-BUS to check this need off the back- to- school list. Neighborhood Alliance is desperately in
need of a 15 passenger mini bus for the start of this school year. A mini bus will help transport our growing enrollment of school age children between before- and after-school care at Neighborhood Alliance Child Enrichment Services (CES) and their home school.
We provide quality "One Stop Shop', educational childcare services for families with children from 6 weeks to 13 years of age. Families must be working or attending school to qualify to receive childcare assistance through our program. The ability to enroll all the children from one family in a program with strong educational, engaging and supportive programming greatly benefits our families in their already stressful lives.
We believe school transportation and before-and after- school programming is essential to ensure a child's safety while providing a supportive environment where a child will thrive and grow. With your support, we can transport more students at a time while increasing the number of neighborhood schools we serve this fall.
Without the mini bus, these families will be required to uproot their school aged children currently enrolled with us this summer and place them into different centers in order to meet their needs.
As you consider a generous level of support, think about the lasting impact on the children of these struggling families we serve today and in the future.
