A new group is forming for those who want to learn about business topics and discuss them with like-minded individuals. Business Readers will include discussion through a Facebook group and include opportunities for in-person conversation and networking.
Discussion will begin on January 19 of the first book, " Be Quiet, Be Heard: The Paradox of Persuasion," by Susan
Rosenblum Glaser and Peter Alexander Glaser.
The authors are corporation trainers for Fortune 500 companies and international corporations, and their book provides practical suggestions for improving company and interpersonal communication.

Sensational Storytime returns
|
If you're looking for a fun activity for your two- or three-year-old child, join us in the children's library at the Grants Pass branch on Fridays from 10 to 11 a.m. for the winter session of Sensational Storytime beginning on January 22.
Sensational Storytime emphasizes parent and child interaction through stories, music, movement, and creative activities. This low-key, yet active group will be limited to 8-10 children, lasting over a six-week session and storytellers will work with parents to adapt the experience to meet each child's individual needs. Parents/caregivers must attend and pre-registration is required. If you are interested in joining, please contact Alec Chunn with Southern Oregon Education Service District at 541-956-2059 x4739.
