"Summer ain't over 'til I say it's over!" I like to tease. It took me awhile to realize that, now that our children are grown, yellow buses and school supply ads no longer define this season's end to me. Maybe your summer doesn't have to be over yet either.

Lessons from LeAnn

Can you still squeeze out moments to nurture your mind, body and spirit...and have some fun?
How can you schedule time to:
  • Walk on a sandy beach?
  • Sway in a hammock?
  • Scream at the top of your lungs on an amusement park ride?
  • Read a book just for fun?
  • Splash in water?
  • Slow dance with someone you love?
  • Rock 'n roll with people you like?
  • Watch for falling stars?
  • Dig in the dirt?
  • Sit under a tree and pray?
  • Pick colorful flowers?
  • Laugh so hard you can barely catch your breath?
  • Go on a spiritual retreat?
  • Sleep until noon?
My friend says her summer isn't over until her postman wears long pants! Maybe we all have the power to say, "Summer ain't over until I say it's over." How can you squeeze a bit more balance into your life before autumn leaves begin to fall?
