Positivity Power
After one of my presentations, a gracious and grateful woman took my hand. She was about my age (that's young!), yet she said her husband had just been diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease. As she faced this illness - where she will lose him twice - she looked at me with tears in her eyes and said, "We're lucky. We have a chance to say and do what we haven't said and done yet." Tears filled my eyes too. I had shared in my speech the importance of truly living our priorities, and this courageous woman showed me how.
In this season of Mother's Day, graduations, weddings, celebrations and with Father's Day approaching, it's a great time to do what this wise woman taught us - say and do what we haven't said and done yet. While many greeting cards eloquently express our thoughts in someone else's words, there is no substitute for our own. So make that phone call or pen that letter (no emails or Word documents please!) and tell the moms and dads in your life how you feel - and thank them. Our parents may not have done everything right, but they did their best based on who they were and what they knew then. I'm guessing some would like "do-overs" in some areas-wouldn't we all.

Lessons from LeAnn
Often in our busy world, miles and sometimes even memories, separate us from the people we love. Take time now to tell them, and show them, how you feel. Now that's living your priorities.
