Happy New Year to the WBAI Family -
Thanks to your continued generosity, we were able to avoid interrupting programming for a fund drive in December.
Our End of the Year campaign from Dec. 26th to the 31st was a success, and a listener who participated has been chosen to co-host the Morning Show during the month of February.
But we're not there yet - we still need to raise funds to close our budget gap during the month of January. Perhaps you've meant to write that check to WBAI, but haven't had the time. Well, we've made it easier for you.
Your gifts allow us to limit pre-emptions - and it gives us the ability to dream big for 2015.
Thank you for your support,
Berthold Reimers

Listen in the entire day as WBAI celebrates the life and legacy of Martin Luther King Jr. with a day-long series of special programs from 6am to midnight. Hear the best of MLK speeches, Peter Bochan's To the Mountaintop Short Cuts, and many of your favorite producers discuss how MLK and the civil rights movement informs today's Black Lives Matter movement.
WBAI publishes an online calendar of events and calls - to - action that we think might be of interest to our listeners and members. As a community service, we also offer the on-air Community Bulletin Board to help organizations publicize their events to the community at large.
Submit both web and on-air announcements using the online form HERE.

Volunteer @ WBAI:
WBAI relies on a substantial team of talented volunteer help to support our staff. They are an integral part of our operations.
As a volunteer you can help with mailing out thank-you gifts, filing, organizing, stuffing envelopes, capturing sound, and answering phones.
Help is needed at live events, making phone calls to collect pledges and doing research. Have a specific skill? Let us know. Contact our Volunteer Co-ordinator at volunteers@wbai.org

To the producers of Law and Disorder:
Thanks for another great show. I listen to WBAI. I live about 50 miles north of Manhattan (Hudson Valley) and hear you loud and clear...lucky me. My daughter is entering CUNY's law school in the fall and plans to become an activist attorney. I'm sending in a contribution to your show. Stay strong. Peace Out!
