Host Highlights
Sean Mahony, listener co-host and James Irsay

During the current WBAI Winter Fund Drive any listener who became a BAI Buddy in the name of any of the morning music shows were entered to win an opportunity to co-host with the producer of the show that they made their monthly  donation in the name of.

James Irsay of Morning Irsay had winning co-host, Melinda Holm, who helped to bring in over $2,500 worth of donations! Since so many listeners gave in the name of Morning Irsay during the previous 3 week period, he decided to select two co-hosts.

The second, Sean Mahony, turned out to be a professional singer. So James polished and set down on music paper his self described stupid anthem "New Jersey, New Jersey (Hold Your Banner High)", in honor of all our New Jersey contributors, for voice and keyboard. It premiered  live in the studio last Friday!

Producer Kim Massengill also had a listener co-host, Bob Gaul of Jersey City, NJ. on her show Thump and Growl. Kim commented on Bob's huge collection of music and vast musical knowledge spanning numerous genres and eras. He did such a great job, she said that she would recommend him for a producer position.
