Thank you for attending our Day of Mindfulness on Saturday, March 15th
.  I hope it gave you a small taste of the peace and wholeness that yoga and meditation can bring to your life.  Spirit in Motion Yoga offers a wide variety of yoga classes, from gentle restorative classes to more active alignment and flow classes. 

Our Spring Yoga Schedule begins March 31st.  We offer both registered and drop-in classes to fit your lifestyle. Please see below for more information on classes and times.

Spring Yoga Schedule

Spring is just around the corner, and we all can use some "thawing out" after all the bitterly cold weather.  Just as the snow begins to melt and the ground begins to thaw, so too our bodies can begin to awaken and stretch, shed the winter doldrums ( and maybe a few pounds) that have accumulated over the winter.
 
As always, our yoga schedule is designed with your busy lifestyle in mind.  Whether you choose to "Drop-in" on classes or register for a weekly class, take time to nourish both body and soul.

Heart Yoga and Metta Meditation Retreat
May 8 - 11th, 2014   
What better way to honor Mothers Day week-end but with a silent 3 Day teacher-led yoga and meditation retreat, holding ourselves and others in heartful awareness, surrounded by the verdant, regenerating fields of springtime.

We invite you to open your heart, your mind, your body, and your spirit to Metta  (Loving Kindness) Meditation and Heart Yoga, time honoured practices for cultivating intimacy with oneself and one's body in service of compassion to all beings.
Daily retreat agenda includes sitting and walking meditation, yoga, exploring the countryside, and delicious vegetarian food.  Your private room includes private bath, linens and towels.

Come enjoy a refreshing yoga class while helping others at the same time.  All proceeds will be donated to World Accord, a Canadian Charity dedicated to sustainable development.   Money from this class will specifically support their partner organization in Nepal, Women for Peace and Democracy Nepal
