SPECIAL UPDATE FROM THE MAYOR

WHY ALL THE ORANGE FLAGS ON THE SIDES OF THE MEADOWLAKES ENTRY STREETS?

Time Warner Cable has begun the process of identifying where and how to lay cable in order to serve at least part of Meadowlakes. The orange flags were their first path.

They are now considering our suggestion that they place the cables BEHIND homes - actually on City golf course property - instead of digging in the 10 foot easement along our residents' front yards and coming up every 150 to 200 feet to establish a "pedestal" in case the resident wants to hook up to TWC.

Either way, initially, the path would come in the front gate and turn left on Broadmoor, continuing for just a few homes - and also to come in the gate and turn right on Firestone to serve all of Firestone Place and all of Pinehurst.

NOTE:  The City has no say in whether or not they can come into Meadowlakes at all - Time Warner operates and is regulated only pursuant to the Texas Public Utility Commission rules.
