A cold front and mid-level disturbance combined have produced torrential rainfall across parts of the Hill Country, resulting in rain runoff that is currently flowing into roadways and creeks and in the coming days. WarnCentralTexas.org
is a new web portal that connects Central Texans with a way to stay informed about disastrous events that could affect our neighborhood. By registering your cellphone numbers and email addresses through a service provided at WarnCentralTexas.org, residents and visitors can protect their family, property and selves. Forecasts can change quickly with additional rainfall. We encourage you to exercise caution and avoid going over any low water crossings with water overflow. Please visit http://kxan.com to get the current weather radars for this area.
