Greetings!
Reminder: AARP Tax-Aide will be available at Meadowlakes City Hall on Thursday, March 19th, from 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM. Tax filing assistance is available for all ages. Returns will be e-mailed without charge. IMPORTANT: Be sure you bring last year's return and all necessary documents. Except for March 19th, the Tax-Aide volunteers are available from 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM on Thursdays at the Boys & Girls Club (Broadway at Q St.) or from 9:00 AM - 12:30 PM on Saturdays at the Marble Falls Community Resource Center at 1016 Broadway. You can call 830-596-2694 for more information.
Busy weekend coming up, weather permitting, and you can choose from golf, shopping or dog walking, among other things. The Seventh Annual Falls Cup tournament at Hidden Falls begins Friday with a draft party, with a shotgun start on Saturday at 1:00 PM. For the ladies (only) on Friday night starting at 6:30 PM, a special 'Girls Night Out" event at Lakeside Pavilion benefiting The Open Door and the Family Crisis Center of Marble Falls. On Saturday, the Marble Falls Main Street Market Day will be from 9:00 AM-4:00 PM, plus there will be a fundraiser for the Highland Lakes SPCA - a dog walk that will begin in Johnson Park (10:00 AM-2:00 PM). The only thing on this list that can't get rained out is the Girls Night Out!

ELECTION CORNER
| | February 27th was the last day to file for a place on the ballot for the General Election to be held on May 9th. There are three positions open; Place 2 currently held by Alton Fields, Place 4 currently held by Clancy Stephenson, and Place 5 currently held by Barry Cunningham.
Alton Fields is running uncontested for Place 2, Clancy Stephenson is running uncontested for Place 4 and Barry Cunningham is running uncontested for Place 5. Due to the candidates being uncontested, we will cancel our election.
