ELECTION CORNER
| |  January 29th was the first day to file for a place on the ballot for the general election to be held in May. The deadline to file was February 28th by 5:00 p.m. There were three positions open; Place 1 currently held by Mary Ann Raesener, Place 3 currently held by Gary Hammond, and the Mayor's position.
Update: Mary Ann Raesener is running uncontested for Mayor and Mike Barry is running uncontested for Place 1. We will have a race between Jerry Drummond and Moe Garza for Place 3. The election will be held on Saturday, May 10th. Early voting will begin Monday, April 28th. I will have more information regarding dates and times of early voting in future newsletters.

SPAGHETTI DINNER

The Marble Falls Noon Lions is hosting a spaghetti dinner with plain or meat sauce, tossed salad, garlic bread, dessert and a drink for Lions Local Charities at the First United Methodist Church Fellowship Hall at 1101 Bluebonnet Dr. on Friday, March 14th from 4:30-7:00 p.m. The price is $8 for adults and $4 for children under 8.
