DOOR TO DOOR SOLICITATIONS

Within the City of Meadowlakes, all door-to-door solicitation except that which is protected by free speech is prohibited. If you see anyone engaging in door-to-door solicitation, please call the Ordinance line immediately at 877-442-0072. Calling the guard gate only slows down the process, as the appropriate authority to handle ordinance violations is the Ordinance officer. Please provide as much information as you can, including the location, name of the company, if any, the solicitor is working for, and description and license plate of any vehicles.

ELECTION CORNER

January 29th was the first day to file for a place on the ballot for the general election to be held on May 10. The deadline to file is February 28th by 5:00 p.m. There are three positions open; Place 1 currently held by Mary Ann Raesener, Place 3 currently held by Gary Hammond, and the Mayor's position. Election packets are available at City Hall for anyone interesting in filing.

IRRIGATION ORDINANCE
The City of Meadowlakes passed an ordinance on 2/11/14 requiring a permit for installation of all new irrigation systems. The cost for this permit is $35 and includes one inspection. For more information, please contact City Hall at 693-6840.

BLOOD DRIVE
Spring is here; Save a Life! FALLS Blood Drive is Monday, February 24th, 9am-2pm Healthy? At least 115 lbs? At least 17 years old? You can do it! Spread the word!

COMMUNITY GARDEN
The deadline to sign up for a plot in the community garden for the spring/summer planting season is March 1st. The community garden is located on Mahan. For more information or to request a plot, please email Grover Howell at groverhowell@yahoo.com

FALLS CUP

6th Annual Falls Cup Tournament

Saturday, March 1st
1:00pm shotgun start
$20 for members & $45 for
Non-Members/ Social/Medical Members

The format will be, 4 team captains will draft 4 teams. 2 person alternate shot on the front 9 and a scramble on the back. Winners will receive pro shop credit, food and beverages for prizes, but best of all BRAGGING RIGHTS as Falls Cup Champions. The winners will also decide where the proceeds will be used towards the club. Any questions or to sign up please contact us at the pro shop
