There has been some confusion regarding election filing deadlines and how they pertain to political signs. The City's Code of Ordinances states that a political sign may not be placed in a residents' yard until one day after the deadline for file for a place on the ballot. For our City's election, that date would be March 1st. The filing deadline for the County's primary election in March has already come and gone, therefore signs for those candidates

ARE allowed.
