This coming  February, Dr. Dodds is participating in a medical mission to Haiti with the group Haiti Arise. He will be  the only dentist on the team, accompanied by a doctor, pharmacist, and several RN's. They expect to treat around 800 patients in 10 days.

We will also be collecting soap (please not Ivory, as it melts in the heat. Dial is best.) and reading glasses (low end, 1.25-2.5). We hope a dental company will donate some toothbrushes too!  Haiti is one of the poorest countries in the world, with one in ten children still working as slaves. This group has been going for the past 6 years so the clinic is established but does not have adequate staffing year round.  See their website at:
