All new patients will be chartless, and over time we will convert all existing patients, too.  We hope to save a few trees, and to improve efficiencies in patient charting.  We ask for your patience as we make this conversion.

We don't mean to offend anyone working in the insurance industry, but I think we can all agree that using your insurance plan is not always the easiest thing to do.  At our office, we try to help you as much as possible with your estimates and claims. 

Most of the time we can send them electronically, but there are two instances when snail mail is still required.  If you have a secondary claim, then you will have to send the paper copy in (but we print off the form you need) and for many estimates, insurance companies require a copy of an x-ray, so that too, goes by standard mail.

Please remember that the health information protection act prohibits us from dealing with your insurance provider on your behalf.  As they do not always send us a copy of estimate approvals, you are responsible for following up with estimates and booking the appointments required.

  Whew! It's a lot to deal with for both you and our office, but we are always here to help when needed.

 As we look towards 2013 you may be making plans to improve your fitness, eating habits, or lifestyle in general.  Remember that your mouth needs attention too!  Maintaining the health of your teeth and gums is essental for overall good health.  Not only will you look great, but you will feel terrific when your mouth is well cared for.

 You would be surprised how many of your family, friends and colleagues are looking for a place to call their dental home! And if they work downtown that's even better! We're hidden away, but we couldn't be more convenient for downtown workers!
