Effective July 1, Bowen Center became our Employee Assistance Program (EAP) provider. Benefits-eligible employees and their covered dependents may visit our EAP provider for up to three free visits per presenting problem. If additional counseling is needed, options will be discussed with the individual. Bowen Center will continue to provide monthly Lunch and Learn sessions and offer counseling on campus. Human Resources and Office of Institutional Equity (HR/OIE) and Judy Tillapaugh, director of wellness and fitness, have been working to bring you additional fitness options. A new partnership with the YMCA will bring fitness to the whole family at a reduced monthly rate through payroll deductions. You can purchase Gates Center memberships through payroll deductions as well! Both of these options will start in August. More details to come!

A few volunteers are still needed, and the registration deadline for lunch is tomorrow, July 21.

Parking permit applications can now be submitted electronically at the University Police Department website by clicking "Parking Information" on the left side of the screen.

You can still go to the police department in person and complete a paper copy if you prefer.

The 2016 United Way Campaign concluded this spring and exceeded last year's participation and giving.

Here's the breakdown:

• Benefited faculty and staff gave or pledged more than $20,000
• The participation rate was 12.5%.
• Participation increased by 40 employees
• Giving increased by more than $3,000
