Get Ready for New IT Help Desk Ticketing
IT Services will be converting to a new ticketing system called Service Now on July 5. When you open a new ticket with the Help Desk, you will receive an email with information about your ticket titled "Incident INC[ticket number]."

Don't mistake this email for spam---- it will allow you to access your ticket (click on your ticket number in the email) so that you can:
  • View the status of your ticket
  • See who has been assigned to work on your request
  • View and modify the description of your problem
This will allow you to see updates on your tickets at any time while your request is being completed. If you have a question, you can reply to the email and it will be added to your ticket. You will also be able to view old (closed) tickets and discover how they were resolved.

If you have a ticket that is currently open in our old ticketing system it will be transferred to the new system. You will receive an email with the new ticket number and a reference to the old number.
