Enhancing the Employee Experience---- Starting with You
Human Resources and Office of Institutional Equity (HR-OIE) is launching a series of feedback sessions to get your thoughts on how to enhance current programs. The first series will focus on the new hire orientation experience. Your feedback will be used to develop an enhanced experience that will help new hires acclimate to the IPFW culture.
Please take a moment to share your thoughts and complete this survey by December 11.

'Hoops for the Holidays' Helps Children Experience IPFW Basketball
IPFW Athletics is partnering with fans and local businesses to give the gift of basketball to Fort Wayne with "Hoops for the Holidays." The program gives Fort Wayne children/families who otherwise might not have the opportunity a chance to attend an IPFW basketball event during the holiday season. For only $5 you can help a child experience IPFW basketball! Tickets purchased through this program will be distributed to the Boys & Girls Clubs of Fort Wayne.
To purchase tickets over the phone or for more information, contact Nate Felver at 481-6372 or nate.felver@ipfw.edu
'Report Your IPFW Plate' Winners Announced
Thank you to everyone who reported or purchased a plate in this process. We are very close to saving the plate, with 468 purchased as of November 1 out of 500 needed by December 31. If you haven't purchased your plate, you can go to the license branch to transfer your plate before December 31 and your purchase will still qualify you for the $50 gift card.
The winner of the pizza party is Mastodon Advising Center/Student Success and Transitions, 88% of whom reported having an IPFW plate. Close behind were the Chancellor's office (80%) and Advancement/Development (71%).
Eighty-two employees reported owning the plates, which accounts for 17.5% of total plate sales. If you count those with multiple plates in their households, employee family plates account for 21% of plate sales.
Out with the old, in with the new! Make time for mischief, mild mayhem, and major fun at Helmke Library's "deconstruction party," Thursday, December 10, from noon to 2 p.m. Enjoy games, refreshments, a selfie station, surprise guests, and a chance to make your mark on the library---- literally!
Immersion Excursions Set for Spring 2016

Faculty and students can participate in an Immersion Excursion offered by IPFW Career Services during the spring 2016 semester. These half-day trips will take approximately 15 students and two faculty members within the operating facilities of regional companies in a variety of industries.

A visiting storyteller shares a story with children at last evening's New Parents Program holiday gathering. The program was developed in 2008 to welcome new babies as members of the IPFW family and to provide ongoing support and education to parents as IPFW employees assume their most important role: their child's first teacher. View large photo | Photo by Jim Whitcraft
