Eight More Ohio Counties Can Now Pay In-state Tuition
Residents of eight more Ohio counties closest to Fort Wayne are now eligible for in-state tuition rates at IPFW. This change comes thanks to a recent expansion of the reciprocity agreement between Indiana's Commission for Higher Education and the Ohio Board of Regents.
We now offer Indiana in-state resident tuition rates to students in eight additional Ohio counties closest to Fort Wayne: Allen, Auglaize, Defiance, Fulton, Henry, Paulding, Putnam, and Williams.
This expansion brings the total number of Ohio counties covered by the reciprocity agreement to 14. Students in Butler, Darke, Preble, Shelby, Mercer, and Van Wert, the original six Ohio counties covered by the reciprocity agreement, will continue to receive in-state tuition rates. Important Rental Vehicle Info for University Travelers
For United States travel, Purdue insures the physical damage and liability exposure for vehicles rented by staff who are traveling on approved university business. Collision damage coverage should not be purchased within the United States from the rental company, as it is not a reimbursable expense. For international travel rentals, full insurance coverage should be secured directly from the rental agency. This is a reimbursable expense.
Employees are encouraged to use National and Enterprise Car Rental for business travel whenever possible. Under the Big Ten Agreement, National and Enterprise Car Rental provide coverage for damage to rental vehicle and auto liability at no extra charge (in the U.S. only). For more information about this program, see the National and Enterprise Rental Car Agreements page of the Travel website.
