Follett Grant to Provide Digital Resources for Student Success
In partnership with Follett, IPFW has announced a $60,000 financial gift to help off-set expenses surrounding the design and implementation of a two-year project that will first focus on leveraging the student success resources offered in virtual and social media environments, and then examine how they impact learning when integrated into Follett's BryteWave e-book reading platform. The study will also investigate if students are using Web-reading behaviors and strategies, rather than those endemic to reading physical books, and how this influences student success.

Over the next 12 to 18 months, Helmke Library will undergo a major renovation that includes redesigning the Learning Commons, where the majority of these resources are, or will be, physically housed. Read the news release
