USAP + UBC Town Hall Today
Please join the University Strategic Alignment Process (USAP) committee today for a joint town hall to discuss this year's budget process, timeline, and the role of the university Budget Committee (UBC). Wednesday, February 25, noon-1 p.m., Kettler Hall, Room 119.
Kobler Departs for New Position
Wendy Kobler, vice chancellor for advancement, has accepted a position at another university and will be leaving IPFW as of March 2. We wish her the best in her new career opportunity and thank her for setting the vision and course for Advancement, putting it on a path for many successes. During this transition, please contact Colleen Dixon (481-0685), director of advancement services, with any questions about Advancement.
International Performance Night

Mark your calendars now for April 16, the second International Performance Night. The inaugural event last November, sponsored by International Student Services, involved more than 400 guests and 18 performances by IPFW students from around the world. Pride Plus Award Honors Excellence in Service
The Clerical and Service Staff Advisory Committee (CSSAC) Pride Plus Award honors clerical and service staff members for excellence in service to the university community. All fully benefited clerical and service staff members who have completed one year of service are eligible for nomination. The award committee is seeking nominees who demonstrate excellence in the following areas:
Professionalism in his or her duties
Responsiveness to the needs of students, faculty, and staff
Initiative to undertake an assignment and show concern for the interests of IPFW
Dedication to the University
Enthusiasm on the job
Nominations must be submitted no later than 5 p.m. Friday, March 1, to Bobbi Barnes in the Doermer School of Business or James Velez in Special Events. The winners will be announced one week before the annual CSSAC recognition luncheon and will be invited to attend the luncheon as guests of the committee. Staff Recognition Luncheon: Save the Date

The annual Staff Recognition Luncheon will be Wednesday, April 22, from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. General invitations will be sent out in a few weeks; meanwhile, mark your calendars so you can be there to recognize 90 of your fellow coworkers and celebrate their service milestones. Staff members with service anniversaries from July 1, 2014, to June 30, 2015, will be honored. Other special awards to be given are the Pride Plus Awards, the Administrative Excellence Award, and the Walk the Talk Award. A list of this year's honorees and registration information can be found at the website. The event is sponsored by the Office of the Chancellor, APSAC, CSSAC, and Human Resources.

Walk the Talk Award Nominations Due March 4

Faculty and staff are invited to nominate a colleague or student who "walks the talk" in his or her commitment to personal integrity and ethical practices at the university for the annual Walk the Talk Award. The award was established in 2014 to recognize members of the university community who exhibit the characteristics prescribed in Purdue's Statement of Integrity and Code of Conduct. All faculty and staff who have been employed by the university on any campus for at least one year are eligible. Students enrolled for at least one year are also eligible for nomination. Huge Apple Sale at Bookstore
Follett Bookstore is having a huge Apple sale through March 7. The sale includes all Macs (both laptops and desktops) and all iPads. The bookstore has partnered with IU Credit Union, who will also be in the bookstore Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday (February 24-- 26) to help provide instant approval for financing for those wishing to make payments on their device.
