Recruitment Begins for 2015--16 AmbassaDONs
2014-15 AmbassaDONs
Staff and faculty are encouraged to spread the word to talented students about the IPFW AmbassaDONs. Recruiting for this elite group of student leaders is taking place through March. AmbassaDONs serve one-year terms during which they volunteer for university events, take part in community service activities, and receive monthly professional development training. Students interested in this great opportunity should go online to register for one of the upcoming information sessions.

Melissa Kurten to Direct DCS Training Outreach Program
Melissa Kurten has been named director of training outreach for the Division of Continuing Studies (DCS). The announcement recently was made by Karen VanGorder, DCS executive director. Training Outreach is a merger of two previous DCS departments, Personal and Professional Development and Entrepreneurship and Corporate Training. Kurten has years of experience in developing and implementing customer service-based training programs in the corporate setting. Read the news release
Student Research and Creative Endeavor Symposium
Poster Proposals
The organizing committee of the Student Research and Creative Endeavor Symposium invites graduate and undergraduate students from all disciplines to submit poster presentation proposals for the symposium, which will be held Friday, March 27, on the Skybridge, Helmke Library second floor. Poster proposals may be submitted online through February 2. All faculty are asked to encourage their students to participate and to mentor interested students; last year 88 students representing 17 departments [PDF] participated. Preparation workshops will be held in February on creating and presenting an award-winning poster. Complete information may be found on the RESP website.

Farewell Reception for Kim de Leon
Student Information Support Services invites you to attend a reception to extend best wishes to Kim de Leon, SIS business analyst for reporting, Friday, February 6, from 2 to 4 p.m. in the Kettler Hall Faculty Lounge.
