Alertus Emergency Notification Message
Information Technology Services has acquired and implemented a new addition to the IPFW Emergency Notification System. Alertus will send an emergency notification message to all IPFW-owned computers attached to the IPFW network. The rapid delivery (under 30 seconds) of this message will compliment other methods (SMS, voice, and email) of reaching students, faculty, and staff across campus in the event of an emergency. A full emergency notification test will be performed Thursday, October 16.

Once the "Acknowledge" button is clicked, the message will disappear from the display. The message will also be set to automatically clear after a specified period of time if the message has not been acknowledged. If you have any questions about this addition to the Emergency Notification System, contact the Help Desk at 481-6030 or helpdesk@ifpw.edu.
